Cukup does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All budget calculations and expense records stay locally on your device.

What We Collect

Cukup does not collect any personal information. The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Income sources, frequencies, and amounts
Fixed commitments (bills, savings goals, investments)
Subscription logs with renewal dates and amounts
Expense history with categories, amounts, dates, and notes
Payment method names and types (e.g. credit card, e-wallet, cash)
Budget period reset day preference
Home currency selection
App preferences (App Lock setting, appearance)

None of this data is ever transmitted off your device.

Currency Exchange Rates

Cukup requests internet access for one optional feature only: fetching live currency exchange rates from frankfurter.app. This request contains no personal information — only a request for publicly available exchange rate data.

Exchange rates are cached locally for 4 hours to minimize network requests. All currency conversions happen on your device. You can use Cukup entirely offline; exchange rates are only needed if you log expenses in multiple currencies.

Third-Party Services

Cukup does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking frameworks. There are no user accounts, no servers, and no subscriptions or in-app purchases that transmit personal data. Cukup is a one-time purchase — all features are included.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework on your device. Deleting the app permanently removes all stored data. You can also manually delete any expense, subscription, or income source at any time within the app.

App Lock

Cukup includes an optional App Lock feature that uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to protect your budget data. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS — Cukup never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data.

Notifications

Cukup includes optional local reminders that notify you 3 days before a subscription renews. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to any server.

Children's Privacy

Cukup does not collect data from anyone. Since no data leaves the device, there are no age-based restrictions on data handling.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
