PDF MarkX does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All PDF files, signatures, and annotations stay entirely on your device.

What We Collect

PDF MarkX does not collect any personal information. The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

PDF files you open or import into the app
Signatures and stamps you create (saved to your device's Documents folder)
Annotations, highlights, and text you add to documents
Bookmarks you set within documents
Custom text presets you save for quick insertion

None of this data is ever transmitted off your device.

Camera and Photos

PDF MarkX can optionally access your camera and photo library to let you photograph a handwritten signature and add it to a document. This access is used solely to capture or select the image you choose. No photos or images are stored outside your device or transmitted anywhere.

Third-Party Services

PDF MarkX does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking frameworks. There are no user accounts, no servers, and no network requests. PDF MarkX is a one-time purchase — all features are included with no subscriptions.

Data Storage

All app data — including saved signatures and document history — is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app permanently removes all stored data.

Children's Privacy

PDF MarkX does not collect data from anyone. Since no data leaves the device, there are no age-based restrictions on data handling.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
