Sky Buddies keeps your game progress on your device. We do not run our own servers or accounts. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use an advertising identifier — you can turn ads off forever with the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.

What We Store On Your Device

Sky Buddies stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your best score and total number of runs
Sound and music on/off preferences
Your selected plane skin
Which in-app purchases you own (Remove Ads, Plane Skins)

We do not operate servers, user accounts, or cloud sync. This data never leaves your device except as described below for advertising.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Sky Buddies displays ads supplied by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process certain information, which can include a device advertising identifier (IDFA), coarse location, device information, and ad-interaction data. This information is handled by Google under its own privacy policy:

All ads in Sky Buddies are configured for a maximum content rating of "G" so they remain appropriate for a 4+ audience.

App Tracking Transparency

On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow the app to track your activity (the App Tracking Transparency prompt). If you decline, ads still appear but are non-personalized and the advertising identifier is not used to track you. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Consent (Europe)

Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), Sky Buddies shows Google's User Messaging Platform consent form before serving personalized ads, so you can choose how your data is used for advertising.

Remove Ads & In-App Purchases

Sky Buddies offers one-time, non-consumable purchases: Remove Ads (turns off all ads permanently and grants a free continue) and Plane Skins (cosmetic plane colors). Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit — Sky Buddies never sees your payment information. Buying Remove Ads stops the app from requesting or displaying any further ads.

No Analytics or Tracking SDKs

Apart from Google AdMob (advertising) and Apple StoreKit (purchases), Sky Buddies does not use any analytics, crash-reporting, or social-media tracking SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Sky Buddies is rated 4+ and is designed to be family-friendly. It is not directed exclusively at children under 13 and is listed in the App Store's general Games category rather than the Kids category. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app serves ads, we recommend that a parent or guardian supervise younger players and consider the "Remove Ads" purchase for an ad-free experience.

Data Storage

All in-app data is stored locally using Apple's standard on-device storage. Deleting the app permanently removes this stored data from your device.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
