Your Privacy

StorageXSense does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Your photos and contacts are analyzed entirely on your device and never leave it.

What We Access

StorageXSense reads the following only on your device, to find duplicates and free up space:

Photos & videos — to detect exact duplicates, near-duplicates (compressed re-saves), similar shots, and large videos. Image content is processed locally to compute on-device fingerprints; it is never uploaded.
Contacts — to find and merge entries that share a phone number, email, or name. Contact data is never uploaded.
Device storage statistics — total and available space, to show your usage.

None of this information is ever transmitted off your device.

What We Store

The following is stored locally on your device only:

Your settings (appearance, app icon, scan thresholds, preferences)
Scan results and history (references to items on your device)
Premium purchase status (verified locally via StoreKit)

No Tracking, No Servers

StorageXSense has no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting tools, or tracking frameworks. There are no user accounts and no servers associated with this app. The app makes no network requests of its own.

In-App Purchase

StorageXSense offers an optional one-time upgrade, StorageXSense Pro ($19.99). All purchase processing is handled by Apple's StoreKit framework. StorageXSense does not receive, store, or process any payment information. Your purchase is verified locally on-device and supports Family Sharing.

Deleting Items

When you delete photos or videos, they follow your device's normal removal flow and can be recovered from the Photos app's "Recently Deleted" album for a limited time. Merging contacts updates your contacts directly through Apple's Contacts framework.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app permanently removes StorageXSense's stored settings and scan history. This does not affect your photos or contacts, which are managed by iOS.

Children's Privacy

StorageXSense does not collect data from anyone. Since no data leaves the device, there are no age-based restrictions on data handling.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
